So if a Warlock takes Book of ancient secrets and pact of tome and chooses find familiar as one of his 1st level ritual spells does he still get to choose one of the special forms like pseudo dragon?

Nope, that is a unique class feature. You get a plain ol' familiar, which isn't too bad really

On it's own anyway. It can still deliver any touch spell attacks you have available.
