Not simply because you can cast a spell without expending a spell slot that it automatically becomes a spell on your spell list, it must specifically say so in order to be, such as your Expanded Spell List feature for exemple. |

| #72ChlorobutanalSep 17, 2014 2:51:03 | Concentration is divorced from spells - even though many spells use concentration, there are other special abilities that use concentration that are not spells.
Additionally, many of the abilities that would require concentration, such as Chains of Carceri, say "you may cast...", meaning that the use of the ability ends up being a spell anyway.
Invocations that let you use spells are still spells. They're just not necessarily spells known by any of you classes (or on the spell list of those classes) unless you have them from another source that treats them as "regular" spells. |
