#1 Silverblade_The_Enchanter Sep 30, 2008 1:31:44	The asteroid city of Bral, tumbling thorugh the heavens...in it's evening twilight, the docks softly lit by magic, folk go about their business, but since this is Bral, where spacefarers from many worlds come and go...strange things are oft afoot... A reigar and her lakshu bodyguard, intercept a group of unusual adventurers as they leave thier ship. Reigar, strange, mysterious beings obssessed with art and perfection, crowned by a halo of twinkling stars, she conjurs up a rich treasure that tinkels and glitters as it falls gently into place! What strange deeds may occur next?

And there are a number of community projects that are still active. But I would say that Silverblade is easily the leading SJ fan artist. His art has been improving year after year and scenes like this make it easy to imagine a SJ animated movie. (Following the recent strangeness in the Other Worlds management, there is now more SJ discussion over at The Piazza than here. The SJML is also a lot more active than this forum. But you will see more people turn up here as the SJ threads slowly get moved back into this forum.)

Well, I adored the "look" of Spelljammer when it came out...we're so used ot scifi space, but FANTASY space, with those wonderfully mad ships...absolutely outstanding!! I cna't draw for crap, but I have a lot of determination, and thus, I setto work on creating the art I envisioned...and here we are today ;) I also want to make SJ live again!! To encourage it, to make scenes of wonder to take us out of the world we've made so troubled. y aknow? BigMac, SJ the Movie, one day...oh yeah....

Well, if people can make Star Wars fan films that combine actors with 3D models of Star Wars ships (and 3D backgrounds) I think that someone should be able to use your ships with actors to create a SJ short movie. So one day something like this will happen.
