starting work on this to tidy such images up into one quick page to look at, and add new ones including ones for Glenw's SJ game project
this is work in progress so will add new ones as I do 'em.

please note though they are NOT TO SCALE!!
ships are exact, but the images aren't to same scale for various reasons. Deathspiders are enormous! ;)

Oct 21, 2010 20:47:46 Have you calculated the 'tonnage' of you models? The original boxed set measured one spelljamming ton as 100 cubic yards, or 2700 cubic feet.

The reason I ask is because the decks plans vary widely (as anyone who has spent more than 5 minutes looking at the deck plans realizes). The Nautiloid appears much larger than the Monarch Armada , officially a ship with nearly three times its tonnage (to cite one flagrant example of many). Also, I noticed your Wasp is 36 tons, double the official version.

aye I did, I posted it on the Spelljmmer mailing lists, on the Piazza and is shwon on some of the stat cards
program I use to make 3D models is used in ship/car desig etc so calculates exact volumes.

alas, my Art PC died ysterday, gah so, can't look it up for ya for a while
