i found a map on the spell jammer website so how long traveling in the flow would it take to get from the crimson sphere to real space ?

is combat ship to ship possible in the flow if there travling at a hundreds of miles per hour ?

The flow maps typically list know (or fan-made) travel times between spheres. If there is no direct link you could take several short routes or make up a new link. Typically the travel time is what the GM whatever wants it to be.

Combat in the flow works like wildspace combat. Everyone drops out of spelljamming speed when they get close enough to one another. I suppose the flow could also have varying currents that affect the ships' movements.

I suppose the flow could also have varying currents that affect the ships' movements.

The density of the Phlogiston affects speed, as per page 10 of Concordance of Arcane Space:

Phlogiston has varying thicknesses in space and forms dense rivers between planet-sized objects (such as the spheres themselves). Voyagers moving along these paths of concentrated phlogiston discover that the greater the density of the flow, the faster a ship can move. A ship can sped up or slow down by penetrating deeper into or rasing itself out of these phlogiston rivers. Further, the speed of a ship is at least partially dependent on the surface area it presents to the flow, so many ships carry sails to increase their speed in the interstellar ocean.

I don't recall any rules that actually used that and shortened journey times of ships with extra sails, but a house rule that did that sort of thing would seem appropriate.
