This month I introduce Thaas, the Crimson Moon. Basically, this moon was inspired by the Dark Sun Campaign Setting. Long ago, I mentioned how I kinda wanted to use Athas as a prison moon. Well, I decided to make that happen!
Thaas is heavily inspired by Dark Sun, sharing very similiar themes (a harsh desert world, slavery, brutal dragon kings, almost non-existant magic, heavy psionics). Thaas does have numerous differences, such as history and that it sees every race imaginable rather than having most of its races hunted to extinction. Note that this really isn't meant to be a replacement for Athas; rather, its a similar, yet spelljammer active world in which a DM can salvage his Dark Sun material for use in a Spelljammer game!Here's the link to the webpage on BtM:
