w00p, it's back! First post etc etc!

Has anyone used any Spelljammer goodness in 4th Ed yet? I'm thinking of running an adventure set in the Realms, with a crashed vessel as like a dungeon. I don't know who to use as the bad guys though. Aboleths make the most sense, what do you think?

I don't think my new group is ready for full-blown SJ, but I'll ease them in bit-by-bit!

I used/am using Neogi in Mindspiders and Deathspiders as the speartip of the aberration/Far Realms iinvasion that is acting like my homebrew setting's spellplague to transition to 4E. :D

I haven't used it in 4E yet but I did design a SJ opponent for 4E. [post=16551609]Star God[/post] was my entry to XDMC #2. The current campaign I'm planning for 4E doesn't have any SJ. I did post some on piazza about 4E SJ ships.

Started posting some thoughts on divine magic and 4E on piazza. Right now I have a Contact Home Power ritual and a divinity feat for Ptah. For being out of contact with your god, I've suggested no rituals and no deity specific channel divinity. It's a lot more power than you got in 2E but 4E more balanced classes would be a lot less fun if the cleric or paladin can't do anything. I'm thinking maybe it should be changed that all channel divinity powers are unavailable.

I'm currently hearing rumors that Greyhawk Campaign Guide is going to wind back the GH timeline. So if FRCG goes forwards and GHCG goes backward that is going to make it pretty hard to do a classic-style Spelljammer game.

But if 4e is going to bring back a multitude of campaign settings it would potentially be the best environment for Spelljammer since 2nd edition AD&D. I'm just hoping that reboots don't make the new SJ unrecognisable.

I'm going to sit out of 4th edition for the next few years. (I've still got some great 3rd edition products to read and digest - I'm still buying 3rd edition products!:P ) but I'll be coming back to 4e in 4 or 5 years and I hope the fans put together a great Spelljammer conversion for me to look at.

I'm currently running a campaign that will eventually get back into the world of Spelljammer.  It started off with the adventuring party being trapped in a Lizardfolk/Durergar prison, which turned out to be a dwarven (durergar) citadel floating over Flaness.  They escaped on my gnome characters hamster-powered ship and crash landed in the Principality of Ulek.  I have the second edition version of Spelljammer and will also be using some material from some of the sites mentioned in bigmac's sig.

I haven't done the conversions yet, but it shouldn't be too difficult to get a quick and dirty ruleset out of it.

Someone mentioned a module involving a beholder Artefact the Size of a Small Planet and i started thinking Worldjammer.

THRONE OF ORCUS
The lord That-riz-dun sought to craft a helm that might allow him to take his prize into the phlogiston and escape even the Gods who rivaled him. This terrible helm grown from the very world itself would allow any who sat apon it to shift the world itself - unfortunatly it is in a sanctum sanctorum at the heart of the world and only one may enter at a time and not until the chamber is vacated. The foul one lost track of the throne having foolishly got up from his seat to deal with some inconvenience. Orcus having made off with the Throne is unaware that it is anything other than a scrying tool allowing total awareness of the World. Access to the Sanctum Sanctorum is via the Abyss only and Orcus's bum is very happy where it is. it would take considerable provocation to get the dark one out of his seat.

The Helm powers the World as though it were SR:1

Something In keepin with the Comming Crisis which will affect multiple settings.

Tired of seeing very little development of 4e Spelljammer, I decided to reboot the setting into the game I'd like to play. The project is on hold due to life and work and thinking about my own fantasy space setting but I do plan to get to it again. Here's the link
