Evermeet is protected by everything and there mothers even Spelljammer ships. A group is preparing fleets, armies and mass constructs to invade Evermeet. Should they get past all the defenses I'm going to bring in the Spelljammer ships.

My question is how many Hit points = 1 Hull point or does a player even have a chance of damaging one of these ships?

What ship/vehicle combat rules are you using?

And SJ ships always have spell casters (or psionicists, or worse) and archers, and ballistas... ;)

if you're using 2e, note that while hull points are equivalent to 10 hit points more or less, you generally have to do those 10 hit points all at once, unless you are right up next to it with a melee weapon in general (that is, you need to hit it in the same spot for 10 hit points, so a group of 10 archers shooting arrows for 1d6 damage each would do nothing no matter how many times they shoot unless an individual archer does 10 or more damage).

if you're using 3rd edition rules, i would suggest using the animated object rules for guidelines on damaging spelljammers. obviously, spelljammers are going to be quite large, so you may need to go beyond the size categories of animated objects listed in the MM ;)

I figure it'll be mostly spells hitting a Ship more than a Melee weapon. It's a fairly impressive force, but looking at the attack force they are sending in. It doesn't look like they are expecting spelljammer ships to be there.
