Mar 17, 2008 20:21:17 ooc: this is my new quest thread, anyone can join, anytime if you want, no prior experience needed.

in a valley between great mountans lies a simple monastery. it is little more than a artificial plateau with surounding walls. the surrounding village is in flames. inside a battle has been raging 50 students armed with various weapons stand together as a fury magus laughing hiddiously with his oversised sharp-toothed mouth, and three mobs step through the gateway. many students litter the stone ground, as well as several mobs. it is clear the wariors will loose this fight. it begins to rain. the rain picks up. lightning arcs across the sky. sudenly, as the magus raises his arms and begins to roar, a bolt of lightning slams into his face, crushing him like a paper cup. master mian gou stands on top of the evicerated creature.
a young man wearing training robes made from animal furslands behind one mob, grabs him by reaching backwards, and hurls him away. his fingers have grown green claws.
the mob gets up, snarls, then dies of his seemingly minor wounds

Mar 18, 2008 9:17:32 A cloaked being blurs towards the third mob. A clawed rat-like foot escapes the bottom of the cloak and strikes the mob's chest. At the same time as the kick connects with the mob, the cloak flies back to reveal the attacker. It is indeed a black furred ratman is beneath the cloak. His eyes are red and he wears tight leather armor now. A smile spreads across his face as he swings his clawed hand at the mob, the knife-like hand accelerates faster then should be possible and hits with enough force to bury itself deep into the mob's skull. Before it can be fully registered that the ratman struck the mob, his hand is back by his side.

The mob falls to the ground with an escaping groan from its dying body. Smoke cocks his head sideways, ears twitching until the heartbeat stops. The ratman turns back to Mian Gou and the others, confident that the mob has died. He begins to pull his cloak back over him as he looks over the students.

one of the students steps forward. and points with his weapon at lunoc, who had been slowly walking along the temple wall

"wait, you! your lunoc! you were banished from this place! "
he advances but mian gou speaks
no! he would kill you like a small dog. lunoc has turned from his old ways, he is assisting me.

Mar 18, 2008 17:28:52 Smoke finishes pulling his cloak around him as he watches the events. He nods to Lunoc as the damwulf comes into view.

he looks at his clawed hands.
ahh... right
as he talks his clothes seem to merge with his body, becoming black fur. his transformation is sudden, is seconds he is a damwulf once again

mian gou walks away from the gate towards the back wall. this area is clear from the buildings in which students live. as he reaches the wall, it seems to melt away. a white archway springs from the ground, and stairs upward begin forming in front of him. they form as he walks.

come, follow me.

Mar 19, 2008 15:36:51 A cold wind rushes through the area and stepping out of nowhere is a true genasi. He has short white hair and eyes filled with all the elements swirling within them. He is large and very muscular. His face has a cold expression on it. He has a huge greatsword strapped to his back and two guns strapped at his side. He has light blue hakama, he also has light blue sashes covering his fists up to his shoulders and then they cover his whole chest. He looks around the area and the whole area seems to shake. Who is the leader of this area?

xalax raises a fist full of lightning, but stops. he looks over to the left, shocked.

a large figure stands beside a tree. legion was watching the fight for, who knows how long. he has new clothes, travelers clothes of good quality. his strange eyes move slower, they seem glazed over.
well, i knew i couldn't expect sorcen, so i guess you people will have to do. smoke, put down xalax, he might be useful.

xalax limps forward
because of you i have lost everything! my armies, my fortress, my knee! what makes you think ill help you?

because, i can give all you have lost back, once your old master, that dirt that tricked me asemodus, is dead there will be nothing in your way.

May 23, 2008 18:16:53 Smoke was just about to run upon seeing the lightning in Xalax's hand. He halts his retreat though and glances at Legion before turning his gaze back to watch Xalax.
