This is an RPing thread made to try to resurrect RPing on this board spearheaded by myself [Hellsbells], Aqua and Christopher_Pelon. It will be done in the same form as Krede's Tavern and the Stubborn Dragon Inn with no one really in command as long as you follow the posting guidelines. Everyone is welcome, all power levels up to level 15 and the place is run by a democracy. All you need to join in is a character and a willingness to roleplay.

The posting guidelines are the same as those in the code of conduct and rules of the website as well as the following:

Before posting read the OP and recent posts until you know what is going on. Remember there is no shame in simply asking someone.

You can not kill someone else's character without there consent. That being said fights WILL NOT devolve into "I hit you", "no you didn't" etc.

This for a DnD roleplay while fights are obviously an important past and will happen this is not a dungeon crawl with no plot and swarm after swarm of monsters. The point is to make a story and have fun.

You do not need exact stats for your character as long as you know classes and are within the power level. Homebrew is fine but don't purposefully be broken.

It is assumed that your characters have a running tab and that payments are collected on their own, magically.

Just don't be a jackass, okay? It doesn't make you cool, it makes you annoying.

That's all for now but they are subject to change and as people who have RPed on the boards often know there are certain customs and unspoken rules that the regulars develop as well as the in character relations. Next post will begin the actual RPing. Have fun.

May 20, 2009 15:40:10 A short, lithe man saunters in the Inn, and looks around. So... there is a place to stay. Seems like an okay place. He walks over to the counter. I'll take a beer and a room.

May 20, 2009 20:50:06 A large explosion of black smoke explodes from the rafters. It slowly spreads throughout the inn. As the smoke clears a man wearing a black outfit. Those who might of seen this type of warrior would know him as a ninja. He had two katana's on his back, several throwing weapons were strapped across his chest and waist. His tight outfit melded perfectly with his body, he walked casually toward a table were he sat himself.

"Wow! This place hasn't changed at all since I was last here. And that was during the war...."

Aquarius took a few more looks around, his dark blue eyes sparkling as the light hit them. He was trying to see if he could make out any familiar faces.

Jun 01, 2009 19:48:56 Aquaurius sat quietly in the darkness of the inn. He was up high sitting on the rafters. His dark blue eyes scanning the room once again. He knew he had enemies outside and they would be following his clone for some time.

For the time being his simply rested and watched this old inn. Many thoughts ran through his head as he decided what his next course of action was.

(I have an idea for a thread if anyone was wishing to join just pm me. Its an adventure thread and I will explain the rules in a pm and in the thread.)

If you're after the bounty, it's been revoked. You have 5 seconds to back down.

((Traice is a bit jumpy, it happens after being on the run for as long as he has.))

The smile turns into an honest one now.

That's a very nice trick mister. Be at peace, I am not after any bounty nor do I have the honour of seeing my face on any wanted posters. If anything I hunt them down.

Perhaps this is the moment where Traice discovers the red dragon scale hanging around the half elf's neck. The tattoo in his neck, which has quiet an history stays hidden though.

I could use some company for where I'm headed, how about we take down these barbarians who attack women?

((The Dragon scale should prevent some magic damage done to Avalar, as well as reveal dissapearing hands and such. But only when in danger.))

((I'll leave the posting to the other players for now, perhaps they can give this a nice twist ;) ))

The men you are referring too are probably still in the area. I wouldn't be against taking them down.

He glances over to Haribel.

"What things do you hunt?" Her eyes scanned the other stranger and had a strange feeling surge through her but kept her mouth shut. It was strange not evil but not good or maybe a mix of both.

She tried not to stare so she focused on the Hunter and waited for his answer.

The cleric finished his water and turned to listen in on the three talking. He didn't hide his easedropping and made it very obvious.

Jul 23, 2009 21:19:50 A small ripple broke the surface, something seemed to dive back down. It broke the surface a ways down and watched silently as the two spoke.

As the visions and images flashed through Harribel's mind she lay motionless. She didn't know what was going on, her body begun to sweat and fear begin to rise. It was just like those horrible people in that cavern, why was she summoned to this place. It was worse then her father's realm. She couldn't even more a muscle, her body felt like a ton and the more this creature spoke to her, it made her nightmares start all over.

Lord keeps shivering. " Havn't....found a cure. Lady's part of the operation. Ah, if only we had known. What have we done? By all the stars, what have we done?"

Jul 24, 2009 23:58:16 Revelation drives his scythe deeper into the creatures body, his chains springing barbs and digging into the creature. He uses his strength to push the creature to the ground. His eyes ablaze with a burning desire of confusion and rage.

"You know nothing of my father! Now tell me what you mean!" His fire started to slowly spread outward, they were lucky they had ended up any closer to the buildings or they would have started to go up flames. The heat around him was unbearable and his madness seems to be causing his mind problems. He wanted to know what this creature meant and he would tear into him to find out everything.

And the portal, is closed. I managed that much. Azal, Baaltriel's prison, I do know the location of. I can track him. But...there was something else." His eyes narrow in hate. " A dead man. He wore some of the finest silk I have ever seen on an ap-human. I remeber his gloves. Black leather. A stone band around one arm. The band was adorned with three green gems. He wore a sword at his waste, and his head was a flaming skull. Runes were carved into the skull, and the fire that burst from his head was green. He seemed...so familiar, but I could not place him. He appeared only briefly, like the shadow of death, and then was gone."

-RETRO- WHAT! Say that again? What exactly did you see?

Jul 28, 2009 22:35:02 With a flick of his wrist the ground under Beast cracked,split and tore itself apart. A geyser of blackwater erupted from the hole and tried to swallow the beast, it went to latch onto his legs.

"I have been there beast...Why don't you finally die and go meet your wife...Don't worry my animal companion I will bring you the creature you have fallen in love with...Unless the monster already ate her. Then I will only get to study her..."
He smiled at Beast, he was already getting ready for him to dodge the attack. He would rip his legs off and use him as bait for this other monster who has invaded his territory.

Jul 30, 2009 0:05:11 I am fairly certain that validates his point. Loyalty can be a wonderful thing, but it can lead you into tricky circumstances. Such as when being loyal is not the right thing to do.
