commercial web sites and the GSL

Sep 22, 2008 6:37:12		is wizards going to release guidelines for businesses who want to publish official 4e content on "subscription based" web sites or are they completely opposed to this? i'm not referring to sites that offer downloads, such as PDFs, but secure logins to view web pages of the content.

at the moment the GSL FAQ states:

[INDENT]Q. What do I do on my website if I can not use the GSL?
A. Wizards will release a fansite policy in the future that will offer a limited license for specified uses. Websites are not licensed under the GSL.[/INDENT]

i don't think something called a "fansite policy" would cover this.

It probably won't. You'll have to contact WotC customer service for a specific answer regarding commercial website (be sure to mention what you plan to offer).
