Hi,

Has there been any clarification as to where do Fanzines fall relative to the GSL. Can a fanzine publish a D&D adventure alongside a Call of Chtulhu adventure? alongside a 3.5x or 3.75 adventure? I am asking this because the provision that requests that you chose either to go for 3.5 to 4.0 for product lines. How does this exactly works for a magazine which aim at supporting multiple rpgs or both editions?

Also, can a fanzine reference and reprint stat blocks from the MM directly in the scenario?

Best regards

Talk to a lawyer, that will provide the best answer for you.

Outside of that, my opinion (and I am not a lawyer) is that assuming you have signed onto the GSL, you can pusblish an adventure in a fanzine and assuming that your D&D adventure is of a different product line as your Call of Chtulhu, you should be fine.

As for reprinting stat blocks directly from the MM, you can't do it no matter the circumstance. You can make your own monsters however.
