#1 mvincent Aug 23, 2012 12:54:20	Ok, this deal on miniatures has become downright bananas! Most D&D players seem to already know about it, but if you haven't seen it yet: it's definitely worth witnessing. Also discussed here. (yes, I'm breaking my code of 'no shilling' by posting this... but it's more a matter of "If you play D&D, you have to see this!")

#3 thespaceinvader Aug 24, 2012 2:45:10	Yeah, this Reaper thing is just bananas.  I'm absolutely loving it.  It's gone crazy.  Only a day and a half left to get in on it, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the stretch goals go up to $3 million by then.  The last couple of days of Kickstarters like this do tend to get a little ridiculous - just look at the Order of the Stick one. Currently standing at ~215 minis for $100 (+$25 for non-US/CA shipping, plus potentially frankly silly amounts of money if you want absolutely everything, which I have to say I don't/ it's possible to have too many Giants and Dragons...

It looked complicated... but boiled down to just one choice: 'Vampire' package ($100 for hundreds of minis), and afterwards trade in the metal 'Sophie' miniature for another $25 in add-ons. I was going to buy add-ons separately, but it turned out to be better to just buy another Vampire package.
