| #1beej_silverNov 27, 2009 0:45:12 | Philippine mythology is rich with fantasy elements that would be at home in many Dungeons and Dragons games. However, the actual Filipino elements that make it into the game are few and far between. And that is why, a few years back, we decided to work on integrating these elements with the 3.5 rules set. 4th Edition was announced just a few months later, though. Since we haven't developed too much yet, we figured that it was best to wait for the new edition before resuming our work on a Filipino Campaign Setting. Things got pushed back even further than we thought, however - 4th Edition turned out to be really fun, and between playing our favorite game and minding our day jobs, our dream of a Campaign Setting seemed to take lesser priority. At one point, we figured that creating one complete Campaign Setting may be too much for us at the moment. Instead, we've divided work amongst ourselves, and we will instead release these Filipino elements one at a time. Nosfecatu Publishing was born. And now, finally, we are able to unveil the first of what we hope are to be a multitude of products to come. "Tikbalang: Guardians of Kalikasan" features one of the most iconic Filipino mythical characters, and now they are available as both PC races and monsters that DMs all over can use. We are really excited about this new product. Go check it out, and feel free to provide feedback/criticisms/suggestions here. ^___^ |
