Hi guys,   I would like to introduce you to Skirmish! VT, a fully customizable virtual table-top that is easy to use while being able to handle very complex tasks. Development for Skirmish! began in 2009 when we noticed that other table-tops didn't quite match our expectations. Since then we have been developing Skirmish! VT in very irregular intervals and while it did suit our personal needs while playing rpgs such as D&D over the past 5 years we discovered that it could be much more than just this private tool.   In 2015 the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter opened for business in Europe finally enabling us to start a crowdfunding campaign to get Skirmish! VT out there. We believe that if Skirmish! gets funded it will be much more than just another VTT; we believe that it has the potential to become a really innovative take at what a VTT should be. When people ask us about what exactly sets Skirmish! VT apart our answer is usually something along the lines of "think of the game Baldur's Gate... but with a human dungeon master." We want to combine the free spirit of pen & paper rpgs with the practical vision of video games and effectively merge these two genres to enhance the overall role-playing experience.   Now, in order to make this goal a reality we need all the support we can get. So here I am inviting you to take a look at our website and facebook page to see what Skirmish! VT is about; even if currently it is only a glimpse of what we intend to achieve.
