May 02, 2008 4:02:11 well, every once in a while you see a weapon or other item that seems blatently overpowered. I wanna hear the unique ones that youve seen. here's mine

1. The blade of dread: a vorpal keen adamantine scimitar. the asshat wielding this thing had taken improved critical, so every fourth hit he made insta killedthe monster. until the DM brought in the hydra and golems. it was really fun watching him cut the heads off only to find them regrowing in increased numbers. good times.

Yes its over powered is you dont follow the rules. In 3.5 keen and improved critical dont stack and vorpal only works on a nat 20 (in both 3.0 and 3.5), not a critical hit.

False. Healing Belt is comparable to a Wand of Lesser Vigor, with differing pros and cons to give each a separate niche. It takes 6.25 levels to pay off in its investment, which is about as long as it stays useful.

Here's a real overpowered item:

+5 Lucky Parrying Spellstrike Warning Shuriken. 4k for +1 AC, +6 all saves, +5 initiative, and a free action attack reroll 1/day.
