This isn't really the forum for that, but there are almost certainly people in your area that you could join up with. Try Meetup.com, or just posting an add at your local game store. Good luck.

I think.... Canada has a section too....

You have two people. Flip a coin. Winner chooses whether to be a player or DM. The other player makes a character or a world. Instant game.

I'd suggest that the DM have a DMPC here. Then you could have a collaborative world. One day you DM and play sidekick. Next day he is DM and plays a sidekick to your character.

There's another place within these forums with people specifically for players looking for players. You might try there if you get bored with 1 player/1 DM games, which aren't nearly as fun typically as group games.
