#1 Large_Gnoll Jun 26, 2012 7:55:13	Hello all, i have a few questions concerning the Tauric Template from MM2 and Savage Species. 1. How do I determine the ECL for the character I am about to build? I suppose I add up the HD and then add .... what exactly?  2. Do I have to use the HD of the base humanoid or base creature as found in the books (MM) or can I adjust this? For instance ... can I use a 1HD Frost Salamander (in MM2 12HD) as the base creature? Thanks, Hans
#2 salla Jun 26, 2012 12:37:35	Effective Character Level equals Hit Dice plus Level Adjustment. You can 'level up or down' the creature as necessary.
