Im making a dragonwrought winged kobold warlock and im a bit rusty when it comes to ranged touch attacks.
How do i roll a ranged touch attack again?
Also, if i used the eldritch spear shape for my eldritch blast. It makes said ranged touch attack have a max distance of 250 FT. Does that change the numbers?
Also, my character will likely be flying at later lvls, again, does that change the numbers?
Ranged touch, is base attack bonus plus your dexterity modifier against the monster's touch AC, which is usually abysmal. The range boost doesn't change the attack roll, it simply lets you blast at a fair range. Also, no change for flying when it comes to your attack rolls.

ooh, so i could hit someone while flying 250 ft up as easily as i could hit them on the ground?!
im happy... now if only i could shape it with both the range AND the cone...

so i also get a flaw, i assume a ranged touch attack doesnt count as a melee attack?
Nope. Just make sure you know a melee touch spell too.
why?
because w/o a melee touch spell u are efft if something forces u into grapple or bases to base.
good call, i think ill take the shape that allows me to apply my blast to melee attacks. eventually...
shouldn't any touch attacks be like an auto-crit while grappling?
