#1 shaggoth Jun 15, 2009 17:06:15	Hey guys, my first experience as a player (have been DM for three years now), and I'm creating a psion. But now I was confused by the class features. Do they gain psicrystals automatically, or does it take the feat? Cause it is linked to the psion class but there's no mention of the actual crystal as a feature. Help please.
#2 anyr Jun 15, 2009 17:16:21	No, the psicrystal isn't an automatic class feature. The 1st level bonus feat is there so that a player isn't forced to have a 'familiar' that they don't want, while still having the option.
#3 Qube Jun 16, 2009 8:58:20	indeed. a wizard is forced for a familiar on lvl 1 a psion can choose between a feat, or a 'familiar' (by taking it as feat)
