A team currently has: Bardlord, Ranger (archer), Swordmage, Barbarian, and my Fighter/Cleric. B team has: Bard, Sorc/Swordmage, Wizard, Ranger (melee), and my Ranger/Rogue. Now, the DM had agreed to allow myself and the player of the barbarian + melle ranger (one player) to swap our A team and B team characters. However, talking with our Bardlord player he feels the primary team would lose out on too much by replacing the Fighter. I'm inclined to agree, yet at the same time, I'd like to continue using the Ranger/Rogue instead. The problem i guess is: fighter provides the main party with balance (well rounded and hard to kill) VS striker hybrid that has a nova every encounter but is very squishy |

We are mostly good at tactics and taking down important targets before doing mop-up in the final third and fourth rounds normally. |

It shouldn't be a problem. Both parties look pretty balanced even without your character anyway, so the identity of the fifth man isn't a huge deal. |

I should also note that both rangers from team B are apparently going to team A. Mine in place of the Fighter, the other in place of ththe barbarian. From what you've all said, we should be fine. |
