| #5Joseph_SilverJul 23, 2008 12:46:57 | The warlord is a leader/defender. The paladin is a defender/leader. The warlock is a striker/controller. Looks like you have all four roles filled. |
| #6philnicauJul 24, 2008 0:44:02 | The warlord is a leader/defender. The paladin is a defender/leader. The warlock is a striker/controller. Not only do you have the roles covered, but you also have the three power sources covered Martial, Divine and Arcane. |
| #7gorditobanditoJul 24, 2008 2:20:35 | yeah 4e worked rly hard to delete class dependency. im running a game for a rogue and wizard and although a couple back to back crits have put them in a tight spot more than once they have always come out alright. even if it were to say become problematic without an actual controller (your only missing archetype) at any given time all you would have to do to remedy that is go easy on minions. you want to challenge them but you don't have to sandbag them--did you throw perception checks at the constantly their whole first level? |
| #8twadJul 27, 2008 23:37:26 | The warlord is a leader/defender. The paladin is a defender/leader. The warlock is a striker/controller. this is also what my friend thought of, some sort of "jack of all trade" party. Thx for the input |
