Sorry if the question sound a bit newbish, but I can't seem to find anything on it in the players
handbook. I see he feats section, but no way to know when to select more.

Thank you for any help you could provide.
P.S. I'm pretty sure we're playing 3.5

P.S. I'm pretty sure we're playing 3.5

In 3.5, you start with one Feat (2 if you are Human), get another at level 3, and then another at each multiple of 3 afterwards. In addition, your classes leveling chart may have bonus Feats. For example, Fighters get a bonus Feat at every even numbered level (IIRC), and the Wizard gets bonus Metamagic Feats as they level.

In 4E, you start with one Feat (2 if you are Human), and gain additional Feats at every even numbered level, and also at levels 11 and 21. Beyond that, some class Builds will grant bonus Feats (The Knight gets Shield Finesse and Plate Proficiency for free, the Tempest Fighter gets Two Weapon Defense, and so on)

Jan 24, 2011 2:06:38 In 3.5 players handbook it lists it on the first page of the feats section under acquiring feats pg87. Other than that check the section on your specific class for bonus feats.

In 4.0 check the handy table at the end of the creating a character section of the book and additionally check the section about your specific class.

For most general questions like this check the content section of your PHB it generally tells you where to look.
