Seems like it will be forever before the d&d gaming table will be done

I usually DM and due to time we only get together about once every 3 weeks, does anyone know of any places where you can play online with a tool like the gaming table?

would love to roll up a level one and play online in a pickup game now and then.

How about solo? I know the basic set used to have some solo modules, anyone know of anyone doing that with 4.0?

thanks

I recently created a website with solo adventures (well, okay, just one so far), feel free to check it out and let me know what you think. Linked in my sig.

There are always games at RPOL.net

A lot of styles and systems. It's play by post, so things can take a while to get done, and reallife can get in the way.

There's the OpenRPG program downloaded at http://www.rpgobjects.com/index.php?c=orpg.

I've been using it for some time and it is a great program.

another vote for open RPG.

Get it and start looking around. you can often find pickup games if you give it a week or two.

Cool, this is helpful. I got tired of my old game, as I do not care for the DM's playstyle. I have been trying to find an online game for a week or two now. This should help me a lot.

makula, would you like me to try and help creating adventures? I am playing a game by myself in order to learn how to operate combat. I also have a few good ideas for adventures I can make up.

That sounds like fun. I might have to participate.

Unfortunately, I can't get the images or formatting to work in Firefox, I'm guessing that that is what you are using. Everything should work fine in IE.

I tried the obvious ways of making Firefox work, ie using google, and submitting the site to checking programs, but I can't get it right. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

If anyone wants to write up an adventure or two, let me know. I am open to posting other adventures on the site.

MapTool is what we use for our LFR group of over 40 members.

Yes, wonderful program - been online for almost 8 years, if I recall correctly.

It's like MapTools only a bit less complicated, and a better community.
