Heya guys We're starting a new D&D game next month. Now, I'm playing a halfling Stormlord Archivist. Well I plan to be atleast, so any suggestions on what spells to take? I want to have a good selection of spells so I can pass on a fair sizable list in which my DM can gently distribute a small selection of scrolls throughout the game so I can add them to my spell list, he's not going to spoil me and give me *every* spell I ask for. But I just want a good selection, I know this sounds a tad lazy "Why not look yourself?" Well my current job prevents me from having much free time and my DM is weighed down with writing. Our Party setup is a Hexblade, a Bard and me. I want to be capable of buffing my ranged attacks with my Javalins I'm gonna be hurling about so any suggestions on that front? Also anything along which is particularly useful for an Archivist. Also our Game is being completely in Character (With accents and all.) and We plan to be subtle and use our guile over brute strength. So suggestions on Recon spells and such? Many thanks.
