#1 RickDeckard Mar 30, 2012 10:33:02	I was wondering if anyone had any links or info on what sort of colors a character serving Ioun would wear. I recently picked up the Reeve the Pious mini from Reaper and need to paint it for my character. I'll definitely be adding a giant Ioun Symbol to the front in burnished gold paint, but beyond that what colors represent Ioun? I'm thinking dark black or grey to make the symbol stand out more or a really saturated and dark purple. Let me know. Thanks.
#2 Mad_Jack Apr 07, 2012 18:50:58	I know somewhere at some point in the earlier editions there was a chart in one of the books that gave the favored colors worn by the clergy of the various gods, but I couldn't tell you which edition it was from, nevermind the book...  Looking at the miniature, I'd probably go with a white and blue color scheme for a god of knowledge, with a black cloak to better show off the symbol on the back.
#3 ADHadh Apr 18, 2012 19:02:07	Seeing when this was posted it may be a little late, but whatever. I would go with washed greens and purples or crimsons. Ioun isn't specifically good-aligned, so she doesn't have to be represented by bright primary colours. She's also revered by wizards and they're known for their colorful and yet respectful robes. Purples and deep reds are also very royal and dustiness could bring up the imagery of an old magic library. I wouldn't go with whites or blues, as they always strike me as the colours of lawful good deities (like Moradin or Bahamut). Here's a quick photoshop job, because I clearly have nothing better to do: Show Whaddya know, he actually turned out looking a lot like the one in the PHB.
