As some of you have already read HERE, you know that in the last couple of pages I decided to make up a new character concept.

Monster of Legend Blackscale Lizardfolk Barbarian 2/To-Be Master Thrower

To plan on contingency, I'm not trying to formulate a backup character incase 'Chagas the Hunter' dies horribly in the arctic wastelands. So, now, I'm seeing advice from the rest of the gaming world. Arctic world, with more powerful creatures, generally, is all the information I've been given, anything else goes. But here's some more guidelines.

1: 'Templates' don't add to the ECL, they are free to slap onto a character, but only one Template, period, per character.

2: Gnolls, Goblins, Orcs, Hobgoblins and Kobolds are so commonly-occurring in all of our GreyHawk settings that they have no ECL, they're just a base-race, essentially.

3: But nearly every other monster, in any Monster Manual, is free game, but I only have 6 levels to play with, and 1 -must be- my chosen class. And we treat their HD as their ECL, with nothing added to it.

So, any and all suggestions I'm open to :D Let's see just how nuts ya'll can get ;)

Arctic Wasteland, huh? What about a gnome alchemist specialised in creating ALchemist Fire, traveling on the back of a ravening arctic wolverine?

Any template?

Yeeeeah, well, no, that one is off limits *lol* Besides, that can only be added to creatures and whatnot. I'm able to play Playable Monsters, but not creatures, IE no Winter Wolves or straight-up Dragons ;) Nice try, though. No no, I mean like any Templates from the MM's, and if anyone has any in mind from a long-forgotten source buried in 2nd, hidden in 3rd or overlooked in 3.5, please, by all means, share them.
