Can anyone point me in the right direction where that information is found? I have not see that info yet. Last night I came into the situation and a fellow party member informed us that you do not get a bonus action if using an item such as a wand. |

The limit that is preventing a character from using misty step and a wand of fireball in the same turn is that if you cast a spell as a bonus action the only other spell you can cast is a cantrip with a 1 action casting time - which is covered on page 202 of the Player's Handbook. |
