One of my fellow players in a game is trying to tell everyone that his Brash Assault has become the following at 13th level, with combined Fighting Style feats. This seems a bit OP, as he himself has said there isn't a need for him to use any other power since he can do this... I'm not sure the feats in question, but all of them have an impact on Brash Assault. Can Fight Style feats stack for a use of the power? Here is the power in question with its additives as the player sees it... Brash Assault Warlord Attack 1 Your bold lunge leaves you open to an enemy’s counterattack, but that’s just what you want. At-Will ✦ Martial, Weapon Standard Action Melee weapon Target: One creature Attack: Strength vs. AC Hit: 1[W] + Strength modifier (+2) damage. Increase damage to 2[W] + Strength modifier (+2) at 21st level. Effect: The target can make a melee basic attack against you as a free action and has combat advantage for the attack. If the target makes this attack, an ally of your choice within 5 squares of the target can make a basic attack against the target as a free action and has combat advantage for the attack. Effect: If your ally gains a basic attack due to this exploit and hits the target, the target takes a -2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn. Effect: If the target makes a melee basic attack against you, it grants combat advantage to one ally within 5 squares until the end of your next turn. Effect: Whenever the granted melee basic attack is a critical hit, your ally's successful melee basic attack is also a critical hit. Effect: If your ally hits the target with the granted melee basic attack, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Constitution modifier (+2). Effect: Against the target of this exploit, you gain a bonus to defenses equal to your Charisma modifier (+4) until the end of your next turn. |

Stacking the deck like this reduces the risk to the warlord and increases the risk to the monster. The monster's never going to want to make the attack unless it's going to be an amazing benefit for him. (Yes, I know the arguments about certain monsters not knowing what the power is going to do to them. If you can get your group to agree to that sort of thing, fine, but I think it's best to let the DM and the players decide their actions with full knowledge of effects.) If you want this power to work as more than a basic attack, you have to sweeten the deal for the enemy. I'm talking about using this on a brute when only the Wizard is in range to take the attack. The true bravura will be wagering that the monster will miss and the Wizard will hit. (A theory I hope to be able to test as the Bravura Warlord at D&D Game Day on Saturday.) |

Arena Fighting Style feats, Fighting Technique feats, and whatever else of the same ilk cannot be applied all at once. You have to specify which feat you are empowering your at-will power with. A shame, because it sounds like that'd be a great way to never run out of uber-strikes. |

You have to specify which feat you are empowering your at-will power with. Not true, Heritage feats don't play well with others and Combat Styles don't play well with themselves, but everything else is fair game for stacking. |
