Im rolling up a character i plan on turning into a mystic theurge. While looking at sorc spells i noticed the 9th lvl spell called absorbtion. I noticed the description placed no restriction on what kind of spell could be cast with the energy.

I was wondering if most GMs allow the use of absorbed spell energy to be used to cast divine spells?

Fast Edit: I also just realized that the spell doesnt limit the nature of the spells absorbed, just the method. So i am also curious if divine spells can be absorbed.

I have no idea - but you might get a better answer in one of the D20 forums for rules questions, rather than the "What's A Player To Do?" forum.  There's mostly 4E people here looking at playing problems, not rules questions, here, and you might get a better answer from a different audience.
