Can't Stick With It

So, recently it has been announced within my group that another DnD game is starting. And not by me, so I actually get to play, which I wanted to do for a rather long time. @_@

However, it reminds me a problem that I have when I'm creating and playing in games. Sticking to a character. I find it really hard to keep with a single character for too long because after some time I'll come up with a new idea for a different character. In fact, even creating a character is hard because there are so many different concepts I want to try out.

What's an Anima to do?

Well, I deal with it by playing in a large number of PbP games.  By their nature, these games are great for roleplaying, providing more space in which to describe one's actions without the table limitations of taking too damn long on your turn.  They also require a relatively small investment of time, which is why I can play in several at once without being overburdened.  The downside is they tend to progress much slower than a weekly face-to-face game.
