| #1ajax127Jul 06, 2008 12:26:49 | Hey, so I my character has Catstep boots. Was just wondering how to use it in conjunction with acrobatics when falling. Catstep boots reduces my falling damage by half, do I apply it before or after my acrobatics check? I fall 20 feet, dm rolls 2d10, lets say 14 damage. 1/2 of 14 = 7. I roll my acrobatic lets say 12, so I reduce it by another 6. total damage = 1 Or would I first subtract 6 from 14, then divide by 2 which would give me a total damage = 4 Which one is right? ![]() Thanks |
