alright this character for my party is a head ake for me to create tho i think it could be done and i need some help with it. to explain i have made a commander that will keep my party in line. he is multiclassed into every class(having all the muticlass feats as if they were all one class) and has access to every power out their. note this does not include the monk, or assassin or anything els with out a multiclass feat.

the stats for this character is str:18 con:18 dex:16 int:18 wis:18 cha:16

the character is at lv 8

the party has one striker, controller, defender and leader

so if any one is up for the challange

the character has two kukri for melee weapons that do lighting damage

challange: come up with a set of powers for this character for me. the powers may be from any class and the character must be up to his level.

note: if you take this challange get ready to peal you eyes out because i think it is iether inpossible or extremly hard. plus do think of some sort of role that will help my party

It's a little extreme. My concern is mostly for the "keep my party in line" part.

NPC 'guides' usually end in frustration and anger, for DMs and players alike. Have you considered simply sending the armies and/or high level adventurers of the neihboring cities after the PCs, to ensure that no more genocide occurs?

Also, lols in the middle of a sentence doesn't make your posts endearing, just annoying.

First off, if this character is the same level as the party, they could take him down together. Easy. Therefore, he's not much of a leash if they don't want him to be.

Second, if he's higher than the party, you can bet your bottom dollar they're going to buck at the idea of having such a leash.

If you want the PCs to be under control, tell the players what kind of campaign it's supposed to be (I assume you want heroic, do-gooder types). Failing that, impose believable penalties on them as a direct consequence of their actions, rather than giving them a babysitter NPC.

Having an NPC that you think of as "your character", who travels with the party, and who get special treatment because he's "yours", is going to end in tears, one way or another.

well actualy i probly should tell you. this campainge is based off the dragon nashoins. and the war between the metalic dragons and the cromatic dragons and i need an npc to lead this squad. at one point at the end of this quest they are on now(based off the keep to the shadow fell) im gunna make them choose the side they want to serve and if they pertray the side they are on now(metalic dragon side) im gunna put this guy up againts them with alot of dragon militry backing him up. the character is 3 levels higher then the party always and has great gear because he is the squad leader and he is not the only one with specail treatment. the pcs have their shear of specail treatment anyway.

If you're going to insist on this, you're going to have to be very careful how you handle it. There's a huge potential for creating anger/resentment among your players. Make sure you don't turn them into self-sustaining dice-rolling machines. Remember, the spotlight should be aimed at the PCs 90% of the time. NPCs can have dramatic moments, yes, but not when it'll take away from the PCs. Unless your group is far different than any I've ever played with, having an NPC (or DMCP) giving orders constantly is going to cause problems.

If you push 'em too far, they'll walk.

You're making an NPC ... why do you limit yourself to player mechanics, and don't use monster mechanics?

You want this guy to be able to anything, why are you using mechanics at all?

He's a plot device, plain and simple.
