If you play a game where you never see 6th level, then they are poor investment. The feats require you put stats in DX and WS of at least 13. The focus only starts after a sucessful attack. Two require you have dodge and the other blindfight. They are built to allow you to take at every three levels. By level 6 you start to pay off by having 3 feats (if you take them all) The +8 to resist grapple is good and +4 will. The dodge bonus is nice and how many times could we have used an extra +1 or 2 to AC against another foe we were not dodging. ;) Level 9 has you with fast healing 2 or 4 which can add up--even better if we have diehard. At 12th you know HP totals (so no more meta gaming ;) and blind sense at 5 feet but gain nothing having multiple feats. By 15th level your combat strike is so so... giving you +5 hit and damage if you take them all but losing your focus. You could do this every other round. But by 15th level a Fighter is 2nd string to a spell caster. These feats might benifit a Barbarian/Fighter more. |

| #4skalgrimmFeb 27, 2009 21:46:37 | Is this about the upcoming 4e PHBII?![]() I can't tell if I'm confused (and you have an advance copy, and I should be really jealous), or if you are talking about 3.5. |
| #5NovacatFeb 27, 2009 22:44:36 | Is this about the upcoming 4e PHBII? Just check out the first response. There are terms in there that are 3.5-specific, so we know they're talking about 3.5. |
