Where would be a good place in Manhattan to go to start a game and play with people willing to help a complete novice out? I'll only be in the city on weekends. Any help is appreciated, thanks! |

But even still they are a great place to buy all kinds of game stuff. And then just down the street to the west, is the amazing Jim Hanelys Universe, and I think they have started hosting games in their basement. One of the best comic book shops around. While you are there, you should pick up a copy of an amazing mini comic called Kool Aid Gets Fired! Other then that, try Meetup.com to find local DnD players. I run a weekly figure drawing group using that site, and it's very friendly and useful. The groups on there are legit so no need to worry about it being scammy or creepy. |
