Is there anything setup to convert 2e Chaticters to 4e? Charicters currently all retired.

Things have really changed, so there really isn't anything to convert between 2nd and 4th.  The best you could do is keep the stats the same, dropping the percentile for strength if there is any leaving it at a straight 18.  Other than that the two editions are vastly different and you'd be better off picking powers without worrying too much about what the characters were capable of.  HP will change, AC will really change, saving throws get pitched non combat proficiencies MIGHT get translated in to skill ranks...

What classes are we looking at?

The easiest thing to do is take all the roleplaying flavor and the general "idea" of the character and rebuild it from the ground up by the 4th Edition rules.

Wizards may end up being warlocks, rogues may become rangers, but the stuff that's not listed on the character sheet will stay the same.

Also Dragon type races to Dragonborn
Demon type races to Tiefling

Wizard specialist Necromancer to Warlock
Wizard Specialist Evocationalist to Sorceror (non PHB class)

Hopefully this helps.

I've not seen anything but other than the basics I'd suggest looking at the 2E character proficiencies and look to see if you can align these to trained skills.

The rest is new i'm afraid so can't help more than that.

I just took a short cut with a couple of my AD&D characters.  I entered their Race, Class, Stats and XP value into the CB and went to town.  My 11th Level Half-Elf Ranger became a 27th Level Twin Weapon Dark Wanderer (he actually had the XP to be 14th or 15th but Half-Elves were limited to 11th IIRC)

Obviously this is only "legal" for home play Sealed

Just redo them with character generator and keep them to the same general build concepts. i.e. How did you imagine these characters to work on a battlefield.

The thing to remember is that 4e heroes are more heroic so their stats will be pretty much on awsome.

There are a lot of build options in 4e and that don't translate at all.  So... just keep that idea in mind as to how you want your characters to work.  In the old days I had a Rogue kind of built to skirmish and backstab.  These days that translates to more movement in battle so that would affect the character's build decisions.

Don't fall straight into the trap that damage is king.  Effects are very debilitating, and I think many players immediately jump onto the damage bandwagon without thinking that it also reduces much of the excitement in the game.
