Personally, I like the expanded one for 3.5 here on the wizards site (though, I'm running out of room for items), and then I like to use the singing sheet to keep a virtual backup of my character.

I'm thinking about photo shopping one of my own and just editing it to my liking.

Oct 30, 2008 23:41:58 My favorite character sheets were the AD&D 1st ed ones that came out about when Oriental Adventures was published.
Well laid out, easy to read, & a nice two-tone yellow/gold on white.
Even had a little bubble for tracking honor in OA.

Past that? Any sheet of legal pad paper does just fine IMO.

Oct 31, 2008 3:57:00 For base statistics, I really like the first page of the default 4e character sheet. It took me a surprisingly short time for me to adapt and remember exactly where everything is on it. My only complaint is the questionably useful blocks on the right side, "Attack Workspace" & "Damage Workspace."
