| #1oynazFeb 06, 2009 8:31:11 | Hi guys I suck at choosing feats in DnD there are simply too many for me. In my current game I play a Favoured Soul, and has lots of fun with it. But I am at a loss at choosing feats for him. Currently he is 6th level, so it will be some time before the next feat. I am open to suggestions ![]() Oh, a stat recap: Str 18 (24 due to magic items) Con 14 (20 due to magic) Dex 14 Wis 14 Int 14 Cha 16 Feats: Ancestral Weapon Exotic weapon and weapon focus: Claymore Heavy armour proficiency Improved initiative Potion brewing Power critical The heavy armour and exotic weapon feats are free bonus feats. Ideas are welcome :lightbulb |

If you want to cast spells while engaging in a foe you can take combat casting to help on concentration but I assume that may not be an issue for you. Are you planning to go into a Prc? If you want the Pious templare you need True Believer. A war priest needs Combat Casting. A Divine Crusader will not need any new feats. ;) |

Heavy Armor Optimization (Races of Stone) will improve your usage of heavy armor. Take a serious look at metamagic feats and your spell list. Some might complement what you've chosen well. And, if you do take some metamagic feats, you might want Rapid Metamagic (Complete Mage), which eliminates the extra time used applying them spontaneously. If you're really not sure what to take, there's always racial feats, Luck feats, skill feats, and stuff like Kiai Shout (Complete Warrior) & Delay Potion (Complete Mage). |
