| #14lCH3M157Nov 03, 2008 21:52:09 | in a fun little PVP tourny we had, two players got in an argument of the monster feat Flyby Attack with his Avoral. He wanted to use flyby attack to swoop in and attack with his Ripper and stop movement. Then he wanted to attack again. Flyby attack states: "When flying, the creature can take a move action (including a dive) and another standard action at any point during the move. The creature cannot take a second move action during a round when it makes a flyby attack." Does that mean the standard action for his turn is used up, or that he gains a standard action to use while moving? Also that brought up another question...it doesn't say anywhere in the books as far as I know, but Avoral's arms are basically wings, so is it possible for one to attack with a weapon while in flight? |

| #34lCH3M157Nov 03, 2008 22:06:18 | Which means he wouldn't be able to make an attack or any other standard action after right? |
| #4legdiwenaNov 03, 2008 22:07:22 | He still only gets a single standard action. |

Worst they got there is, you know, drive-by... arguments... [Meanwhile, in England] Englishman: I say, Jeremy, isn't that Reginald B. Stifworth, the young upstart chap who's been touting the merits of a united European commonwealth? Jeremy: Why yes, I daresay it is. Englishman: Oh, let's get him. [They drive up] Englishman: Oh Reginald... I disagree. [drives off] |
