hi guys

does anyone know if there is a rule to how many encounters u can have in a session when u are play in a gaming store?

is it  like 1 encounter per session or is it more? or does it depend on when the store closes or what? or is it up to wizards to set up guildlines for how many encounters u can have?

If you are referring to Dungeons and Dragons Encounters the promotion, it is one per week.  Stores will run the same encounter as many times as they have players and DMs that need a space.

Anything else it will depend on what you are running.  The restraints I usually find with gaming stores are the hours of operation.

Check with the group you will be gaming with and the location you will be playing at to see if they have any special requirements on game length or content.  Chances are the store will only have rules that Wizard's of the Coast passes down to them for special events, and the group running the game will likely only have the conditions from Wizard's of the Coast combined with the time the store remains open.

The number of encounters is usually set by Wizard's of the Coast, unless it is a home campaign and you are meeting in the store.
