Basically what I want to know is what I'll need to play ( I have the handout), how to act, etc <_<. I've played D&D online using the RPTools Maptool client, but this'll be my first time playing D&D in real life. So, yeah tips, pointers, etc, would be very helpful. |

| #3shinobicowAug 04, 2010 23:59:11 | The encounters are a pretty fun time. Just be prepared to play a lot of meta game trying to figure out how to win. As far as the places I have played the encounters in, most of the games have been pretty much about winning, not so much about role playing... |
| #4Pashalik_MonsAug 05, 2010 0:07:15 | That's not surprising. Encounters includes pre-generated characters, and people tend not to roleplay much with those. it's like borrowing someone else's clothes: you'd rather do it than go without, but you sure won't be comfortable. |
