Im not sure where else to look, ive pretty much tried everything i can think of, and still havent found a group. anyone have ANY suggestions? Im willing to play any incarnation of dnd, and I'd love to get into star wars or shadowrun stuff too.

There are several groups who cater to PbP gaming on this site - Real Adventures, PbP Haven are two of more broad groups. The Core Coliseum is an arena style D&D that caters to both 3.5e and 4e D&D. For non D&D games, you could try out Crazy Monkey's Asylum or Blue Moon Aurora. Other smaller groups here in the community might be able to help as well. I have a number of them linked in my signature - but there are certainly more out there.
