That includes second wind and healing word. A Heal check can do 3 things. 1) Allow a character to use their second wind. 2) Stabilize a dying character. 3) Grant a saving throw. Even if the character has no surges remaining they can still recover by useing #2 or 3, or by a leader useing surgless healing like cure light/serious wounds. |

That includes second wind and healing word. Yes, but a Dying character who has no Surges who "Spends a Surge" gets 1 HP. Honestly, dude is Dying and has no Surges. I'd give him the Leader Bonus Healing. (Also note: A non-Dying character who has no Surges who "Spends A Surge" gets NOTHING. And nothing + "extra" is still nothing.) |
