So at the end of this campaign, all of our characters were captured and sent to hell to be tortured etc...MY DMs npc character was told that the only way to "get his friends back" was to gather a group (theres 7 of us) of the roughest toughest people around. So after the session he gave us a list of a Bunch of classes and races of monsters that he would like us to choose from. We can be good/bad, lawful, anything but CE...

Now in this campaign we are traveling around vast lands and super adventures gathering 12 items that belong to gods/demigods/devis/heros/legends, etc...like Hurcules this, and Kords that...entering many different lores. One of them will be under water...

So everyone picked their toon and everything (we are making these toons all at level 16). We have people who can heal, fight, and everything we need. Except one thing. We have no real Arcane User in the group. The DM said he would suggest (but does not HAVE to) that we have attleast 1 wizard/sorcerer/warlock....

I've already made one toon that would be awesome for this...A Vampire Monk who got turned into a Werewolf. Its such a fun brute class with a SUPER high AC.

But he has no Arcane stuff, and I made a Second character, An Aquatic Elf (who has been bestowed that power and knowledge and consiquenses of all types of other elfs as well (wood elf, drow elf, sun elf, wild elf, etc). He is a Hellfire Warlock/Wizard

In your opinion, what would prefer playing, not just for filling in the roles that we need in a campaign, but for fun. Better role play. The Aquatic elf, i was thinking, could be the king or prince or general of his under water kingdom. The Werepire could be locked away in a hard to reach/escape dungen/prision (our DM wants EVERYONE to DM their intro and give a motivation for their characters to want to join this epic dangerous adventure).

Don't worry about if they die, because we get to make completely new peeps if they die.

So, a Buffed Aquatic Elf Warlock, or a Super high AC (42) dmg reducing (20 for physical attacks) Werepyre Brute? What would you like to play, because I'm on the fence...?
