My group is about to be disbanded due to several members moving away. The DM has upgraded us to 30th level so our final session can be a showdown with some of the evil characters that have been plaguing us since we started 4e at launch.

He suggested that we do some research on the villains themselves and ask the player community for ideas.

So how about it? We got Orcus and Tiamat. We're in the Northen country of Abertingal, which is technically the domain of Bahamut. We have a figher/warlord, a rogue, a paladin, a sorcerer, and a wizard.

How should we go about it? Or how would you? Any items or specific spells?

We got one day until the fight starts @_@

Heh heh. I get to see this from both sides!
  • First, I recommend that every PC be willing to sacrifice his own life for the victory. With this mindset, victory will be almost assured.

  • Second, have the paladin and the fighter/warlord tag team on the marking as needed.

  • Third, do not let the rogue go toe to toe. Use mobility. A lot.

  • Fourth, spend your action points in the first round. All of you. Massive damage is your first round goal.
The rest of the tactics depend on your personal synergy as players.
