#1 sladegar Jun 21, 2008 10:32:19	I would like to create a Human Bard/Fatespinner but there is a slight problem. One of the requirements for a Fatespinner is to be able to cast a 4th lv. arcane spell(Complete Arcane pg.37). A bard does get 4th lv spells but not until lv 10. I dont want to wait for ten levels just to have access to the prestige class. Are there any special feats or anything I can do to shorten the level gap needed to cast 4th lv spells as a Bard. I was thinking about the "Practiced Spellcaster" feat (Complete Arcane pg. 74) which would "Increase spellcaster level +4" but I'm afraid that would only apply to strength of spell and spell resistance ect. ANY help with this problem would be most helpful.
#2 green_yawgmoth Jun 21, 2008 13:00:17	Practiced spellcaster also caps out at your character level. The only way you're gonna get a bard into fatespinner is to get 10 levels in bard, really. And it's not like it's a long wait (unless your DM only lets you level 1/month or something); hell, a wizard has to wait until 7th level and a sorcerer waits until 8th. An extra 2-3 levels isn't huge.
