#1 jimprofit Mar 21, 2009 6:10:10	We're running a monster campaign. An awesome monster campaign with politcal climate, action, suspense, and a ton of drama and butthurt. Recently there was a mysterious "chaos mage" villain. Causing random mayhem and disorder. You see, even though we're monsters, and villains, we have heirachy, we have rules, and this guy, he just said screw the rules. And noone knows who he is. And I was apathetic because hey, what do I care? And then the chaos mage revealed to me his true identity. He made the mistake of challenging me. "There's no way you could stop me anyway. That's why I'm telling you". Infact he predicted the idiotic masses would eventualy blame me. Because of my attitude, and my love of panic, destruction, terror, and suffering... So I took some of the higherups, the most respected monsters in private, and explained to them that I know who is responsible for these chaos mage acts. However... I want something in return... First I demanded a proper seat in the hierachy. I wanted power. Secondly I demanded the tools and manpower needed to perform a ressurection ritual to bringback my dead wife. (This will be increddibly tedius if not downright impossible, as she was a ghost! Now, in this cosmology, spirits reincarnate as mortal creatures, mortal creatures reincarnate as spiritual creatures. But first we have to find her new mortal form, kill it, then ressurect her old form... It's a big proccess!) When they threatened to take action against me. (Mind control won't work, I'm a lich. Killing me would just annoy the both of us.. Their really only hope is to confine me to a prison or attempt toture. Which doesn't work so well on the crazy...) I have spent my life learning the nature of evil, studying it, respecting it, worshipping it. What we are dealing with here is of great evil. There's no doubt about that. A destructive, nihilist force, that only seeks to undermine all that we've worked for. But I know the truth, I know who is behind it, and I can put a stop to do it. In the face of being able to save the innocent, and bring justice. And yet I choose to do nothing... That elders... makes me far more evil then the chaos mage... or any of you... Now do we have a deal, or what?
#2 disciple_of_juiblex Mar 21, 2009 10:59:19	Honestly i would say either LE or NE... Its clear that your pc has a plan. That he wants power. And that he is willing to work the system to get what he wants. Now if he was CE (I think you said that) i might just send him to NE to show an alignment willing to work the system when he wants to but still break it when he wants to.
