| #1DaKKaDaKKa100Oct 18, 2013 18:16:03 | Okay so our DM has allowed me to make my own custom class. Partly because I wanted to but anyways. The only thing I can't figure out is what one of my 1st level at wills should do. I'm calling it "Lash" and it was going to be a basic melee attack against one target and daze them (save ends), but that seemed a bit too OP so I'm trying to think of something else.
The "fluff" for it was it was a swift melee attack that hit hard and fast and when the enemy wasn't ready. Any ideas out there? Thanks a bunch dudes! |

The power you have in mind would be appropriate as an interrupt, triggered before initiative is rolled.
IF you want something to stagger the target, you don't have to go all the way to "Dazed." Impose a -2 penalty to their next attack before the end of your next turn, or something. There's probably already an At-Will that does basically that, but that's ok. Have yours target a different defense or have a different range, or something.
Good luck. |

I'd also like to see the entire class, to see how things interact before I can give a really good answer. |

(modelled on a half-elf's Dilettante ability) Be aware that if you cherry-pick the best of the best, your character will outshine the rest of your group, and they won't have much fun if their only purpose is to stand aside and bear witness to your being awesome.
I recommend you pick a standard class so you can work out how you fit into the group. |
