so my group is starting d&d. ill give you a run down of my party, and if you could, i need input on stuff.

Dwarf Fighter (hammer and sheild)
Dragonborn Warlord (Sword and shield)
Halfling Rogue
Shifter Druid
Human Sorcerer
And possibly a warden

now looking at the warlord and the fighter, lets say fighter goes before warlord. on fighters turn, i attack and mark creature A. on the warlords turn, he uses commander's Strike on target B, and selects me to attack. can i also mark target B, and have 2 targets marked till the end of my next turn?

with this party, what other powers can work well together? any input would be much appreciated

For your specific example, yes - you mark anything you attack, regardless of how. If you got an Opportunity Attack on something, you'd mark that as well.

As for other synergies, well... to be honest, there's tons. 4e is BASED off synergy. But one that stands out to me right now is that your party rogue is probably an artful dodger. That being the case, s/he has crazy AC against Opportuniy Attacks. So if that rogue just walks past whatever you have marked to get into a flanking position, if the monster risks the Opportunity Attack, it'll probably miss AND you get a free attack on it yourself from your class feature!

Brash strike on an enemy marked by the fighter would work too. If the enemy chooses to attack the warlord with CA, the fighter can use combat challenge, and get another free attack granted by the warlord's brash strike.

If you get the Warden, watch out for overwriting each other's Marks.
