I notice whenever someone has a difficulty with their DM/gaming group, the majority of responses the person gets on the forums is to leave and find another group. I admit that is my first response as well and have even recommended this. Thinking back on it, if I had a problem, this would not be possible as I only have one gaming group and do not want another. I am currently halfway across the country from the rest of my gaming group and I would rather not play than find another. Is it correct to assume that the reasoning behind many people suggesting finding a new group when the old one gets problematic is that most people game with many different groups? And if so, how many on average? |

That said - if I ever did need to go out and look for another group - I know the avenues to find one. Either by searching for PbP games (like those linked in my sig) or by going to my local FLGS. |
